Aqualyx™ is an injectable modified compound of cholanic acid , developed for the treatment of localised pockets of fat underneath the surface of the skin.

Aqualyx™ attaches itself to the membrane of fat cells in the area of the injection and starts to dissolve the membrane surrounding the cell. This then causes the fat cell to break open and ultimately be eliminated from the body by the liver.

Results will vary person to person as will the number of treatments required which can be between 3 - 4 weeks apart.

It should be noted that Aqualyx™ is not a weight loss solution but a means to body contouring to eliminate stubborn pockets of fat.

 

As with all injectable products there are possible side effects such as bruising, swelling and skin irritation which normally last for 4 - 6 days.
